Taking part in the Prescient Freedom Paddle was one of the most unforgettable experiences of my life. It was my first time racing in the ocean, and I honestly didn’t know what to expect. Standing at the start, I felt a mix of excitement and nerves — but also a deep sense of purpose.

Out on the Water

Being out there on the water was something special. The ocean was challenging, unpredictable and powerful, but it also pushed me to stay focused and keep going. Every stroke felt like progress — not just in the race, but personally too.

The Helplink Connection

What made this journey even more meaningful was being supported by Helplink. Knowing that I had people backing me gave me extra motivation to give it everything I had. It wasn’t just about finishing — it was about proving to myself that I could step out of my comfort zone and do something big.

Crossing the Finish Line

Crossing that finish line was an incredible feeling. I was proud, grateful and inspired. The Freedom Paddle is more than just a race — it’s an experience that brings people together, challenges you, and leaves you with memories that last forever.

This was my first ocean race, but definitely not my last.
